The Ngāti Hine 99.1 FM frequency broadcast footprint extends from Whakapara North through to the Bay of Islands, Mid North, Hokianga, and North Hokianga to Whangape.

May 2018 NHFM opened another broadcast studio in Kawakawa – located at Pokapu Building, 6 Wynyard Street, Kawakawa.
